Fragment #32 - Empty summer

I can't believe we are already in July... It seems to me that only a couple of days have passed since the beginning of June.
Life is going pretty smoothly for me these last days. As if I found my place in the great scheme of things. Camie is smiling and happy. He's talking about moving in with Sara. My brother Paul is back in France, trying to get in the Erasmus program with his uni. Emma comes around to say hi once in a while. She's really a nice girl, but I doubt that she'll resist Mother. Sasha managed to have a month off so she left with Mickael to Spain, for a month.
And me...
Well, I'm fine. In fact, I'm better than fine. Except that Steve is away for the summer. He left with the group he works with. They needed a leader and he said yes. That was all organised before us... let's say finding each other.
Since that night, nothing happened much really. I still feel insecure and Steve is not ready yet to give up his new independance. A couple of kisses and a couple of hugs. We're actually becoming closer and closer.

But, since he left, I have that strange feeling. As if someone was spying on me. Or following me, everywhere I go. I'm starting to have nightmares again...
